LaF is reviewing The Legend of Tarzan, starring Alexander Skasgard and Margot Robbie for episode 159. The film has Tarzan returning to Africa to stop slavery going on in the Belgian Congo. The film marks the first-time in thirty years that a live action Tarzan film has swung into theaters. In addition to reviewing the film, our hosts argue about how awesome Margot Robbie is, they rank where Tarzan is among other British literary figures, and they try to find out whats makes for the perfect summer popcorn flick.

Wee LaF for the July 1 Weekend - LaF 157

LaF is ready to celebrate Independence Day by previewing three new films coming out in theaters for the July 1st weekend. The summer box office continues to grow ever more crowded, but don't despair Richard Lusk and Ryan Bull are here to let you know what to go see. First, The BFG is Steven Speilberg's first Disney every, and the sixth Roald Dahl novel to be turned into a film. Next, The Legend of Tarzan is the first live action adaption in over thirty. Alexander Skasgard and Margot Robbie play everyone's favorite jungle couple in the film. Lastly, The Purge: Election Year picks up two years after the last film. Now, a Senator(Elizabeth Mitchell) is running for President on the platform of discontinuing the Purge. Things do not go well from there.

The Hateful Eight - LaF 109

Goodbye 2015. Hello 2016. LaF is starting off the new year with a bang, as our hosts review The Hateful Eight from director Quentin Tarantino.  Inside of a cabin in the middle of a blizzard, eight strangers find themselves engaged in a battle of survival, never knowing who is friend or foe. The film features Tarantino's unique brand of storytelling, violence, comedy, and suspense. The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames review the film, rank it among Tarantino's other masterpieces, and discuss the casting changes.

LaF Track #2 - Snakes on a Plane

LaF is about more than talking about the films you have seen. Now, LaF wants to talk about films as you watch them in real time. Our newest feature at Flying Bull Productions are our LaF Tracks, where we provide alternate audio tracks to play alongside the movie. Get ready for some fun as Tony, Hoagie, Brian and Nate watch the greatest snake attack movie since Anaconda. 

Kingsman: The Secret Service - LaF #22
