Paths of Glory - LaF 48

For episode 48, LaF is reviewing the Stanley Kubrick classic Paths of Glory. This 1957 films stars Kirk Douglass as Colonel Dax, the commander of the 701 Regiment of the French Army during World War 1. Trouble arises after the soldiers refuse to continue a suicidal attack on the enemy stronghold. The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames sit down to discuss the importance of this film and its influence on later Kubrick films like Dr. Strangelove and Full Metal Jacket. The discussion of this hidden gem war movie does contain spoilers so it is recommended that you go view the movie first.
