Crimson Peak from director Guillermo del Toro is the subject of episode 90. The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames are reviewing this Gothic romance-horror film that stars Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston, and Jessica Chastain. This film has been misadvertised as a hunted house horror film, so LaF is here to try to set the record straight. Once again, our hosts are not in agreement, and neither gives an inch as they debate this movie. In addition to reviewing this film, the fellas discuss the Gothic genre, where this film ranks among Guillermo del Toro's filmography, and the chances that Pacific Rim 2 gets green lit because of this film.

LaF is in the Halloween spirit on today's show. The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames are reviewing two new horror movies that are both available VOD. They first discuss Eli Roth's film Knock Knock starring Keanu Reeves, which is about a father whose life is turned upside down when he makes the mistake of letting two young and beautiful strangers into his house on a rainy night.
The second film is horror comedy send up of 80's slasher films. The Final Girls stars Malin Akermna and Taissa Farmiga as a mother and daughter who are reunited in the fictional slasher film Camp Bloodbath which the mother starred in before her untimely death. Now Taissa must use her knowledge of horror movies to save herself and her mother. In addition to reviewing the films, the guys also give recommendations of other similar horror films and the L-Train finds out a little to much about Sleepaway Camp.
