Next, The Birth of a Nation features Nate Parker as he pulls triple duty as writer/director/lead actor in the true story of Nat Turner, a slave who led a famous revolt. Lastly, for the preteens, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life stars Griffin Gluck as a teenager who fights back against his principal's rules against creativity.
