Laf is previewing all the new releases for the August 19th weekend on episode 172 of LaF. First, Ben-Hur races into theaters starring Jack Huston, Toby Kebbell, and Morgan Freeman. The film tells the classic story of Ben-Hur seeking revenge against his brother after being falsely accused of treason. Next, Miles Teller and Jonah Hill star in War Dogs, the true story of two guys in their twenties who ran guns in Afghanistan for a 300 million dollar contact with the Pentagon. Lastly, Kubo and the Two Strings is the lastest stop motion animation film from the studio that created The Boxtrolls, ParaNorman, and Coraline.
