The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames are reviewing two new films that are hitting cinemas around the country for the December 11th weeeknd. First, is In the Heart of the Sea, directed by Ron Howard, starring Chris Hemsworth, Cillian Murphy, and Brendan Gleeson. The film is the retelling of the doomed 1820s whaling ship The Essex, which was sunk by a sperm whale. This true story inspired Herman Melville to write Moby Dick. Also opening in wide release, is the British gangster film Legend starring Tom Hardy as both Reggie and Ron Kray, the notorious criminals who ran the East End of London for most of the 1960s. The fellas have streaming and Redbox picks for those not venturing out to the movies.
