Merry Christmas LaFFers! The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames are ready to deliver the presents you really want; movie previews of the five films coming out on Christmas Day. First, Joy starring Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, and Robert DeNiro are reteamed with director David 0. Russell in the rags to riches story of the Mangano family. Next, Will Smith stars in the film the NFL does not want you see - Concussion. The film follows pathologist Dr. Bennett Omalu's discovery of CTE and it affect on professional football players. Everything old is new again, with the remake of Point Break. The film is loosely based on the 1991 action classic that starred Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. This time Edgar Ramirez and Luke Bracey journey to find the perfect wave. For the comedy fans, Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg star in Daddy's Home as a father and step-father fighting for the affection of two children during the holiday season. Lastly, The Big Short goes into wide release this weekend. The film stars Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, and Brad Pitt as a group of investors who foresaw the housing crisis of 2007, and positioned themselves to make millions off of it.
