Spring Movie Preview - LaF 34

LaF is proud to bring you it's annual Spring Movie Preview. The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames have poured over countless movie trailers to compile their top 5 lists. Now the guys are ready to share the five movies they are each looking forward to the most this spring. Also, there cannot be a preview episode without a little wager so the guys play Box Office Challenge(timecode - 38:01). The rules are simple - pick four films that will combine to do bigger opening weekend numbers than your opponent's four films. Game On.

Wee LaF for April 10 - LaF 33

Flying Bull Productions brings you another installment of LaF. On Episode 33, the guys preview The Longest Ride the only wide release for the April 10th weekend. This Nicholas Sparks novel turned movie stars Britt Robertson and Scott Eastwood. Mr. Two-Frames has an Oscar Isaac movie for his Redbox pick to make up for Ex Machina only opening in New York and L.A. The L-Train's Amazon Prime Pick of the Week is another gem from 2014.

It Follows and 71 - LaF 32

This week on LaF, the guys are serving up suspense two ways. First, we have a review from the L-Train on the newly released horror movie It Follows. This film is about a young woman being followed by an unknown supernatural force. Will the L-Train admit that the suspense had him on the edge of his seat? Afterwards, both co-hosts discuss the British film '71 starring Jack O'Connell. This overlooked gem from 2014 is the story of a British soldier left behind in the streets of Belfast at the height of the IRA riots. 

Wee LaF for the April 3 Weekend - LaF 31

Episode 31 of LaF is just what you need to get ready for the Easter holiday weekend. On this Wee LaF edition, the L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames preview Furious 7 starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, as well as  Woman in Gold starring Helen Mirren and Ryan Reynolds. The Amazon Prime Pick of the Week comes directly from the L-Train's top 10 list of 2014. Mr. Two-Frames' "New on Redbox" pick is a science fiction movie that the guys reviewed back on episode 3. Enjoy. 

Wolf 359 and Insurgent - LaF 30

This week on episode 30 of LaF, the guys are traveling 7.8 light years to interview Wolf 359, a radio drama in the tradition of the Golden Age of Radio. The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames sit down with show creator Gabriel Urbina, actor Zach Valenti, and actress Emma Sherr-Ziarko to talk about what goes into making radio theater. Also, the guys review Insurgent starring Shailene Woodley and Theo James.   


Wee LaF for the March 27 Weekend - LaF 29

The final days of March are upon us, with them brings another Wee LaF. The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames preview all the new box office releases and throw in some picks to watch from couch. The guys discuss Dreamworks' newest animated film Home starring Jim Parsons and Rihanna, as well as, Will Farrell's R rated comedy Get Hard also featuring Kevin Hart. Mr. Two-Frames shares a Redbox pick of the week that pairs perfectly with Disney's Cinderella, while the L-Train has an spectacular 2013 gem that is free on Amazon Prime.

Love Hunter - LaF 26

This episode of LaF features an early review of the film Love Hunter, available March 17 on iTunes and on DVD starting April 15. The film mirrors the real life of Serbian rock star Milan Mumin, who drives a cab in New York while pursuing his dream of becoming a successful recording artist. The L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames sit down and interview Nemanja Bala, one of the film's co-directors. During the course of the interview, Nemanja gives all of the inside information about working with Milam Mumin, filming in New York, and directing with his brother Brane Bala.

With Spring comes a new slate of movies for the guys to preview on the Weekend Entertainment Edition of LaF. This week the L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames discuss Chappie directed by Neill Blomkamp and starring Hugh Jackman, Vince Vaughn's new comedy Unfinished Business, and the ensemble film The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel starring Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy, and Richard Gere. Their streaming pick of the week is Road Hard written/directed/starring Adam Carolla.  

If you live in the Washington D.C. area go see the premiere of Love Hunter this Thursday, March 5 at the West End Cinema at 7:30. LaF will be interviewing the director Nemanja Bala on next week's episode. 

Kingsman: The Secret Service - LaF #22

The Weekend Entertainment Edition of LaF(Wee-LaF) for Feb 14-15 - LaF #16

Flying Bull Productions is excited to announce a second weekly edition of LaF. On Thursdays, a Weekend Entertainment Edition of LaF(Wee-LaF) will get released. These short episodes will only run 10-15 minutes as the L-Train and Mr. Two-Frames cover the weekend's new releases. The guys will let you know which films they think are worth a trip to the cinema. In addition, they will also give a recommendation for a movie to stream/rent if you are planning to stay at home. 

To kick off the first episode of Wee-LaF, the guys are previewing Fifty Shades of Grey and Kingsman: The Secret Service. Listen in and find out what's worth a watch.
