Episode 119 is going to be big. Richard Lusk and Ryan Bull are reviewing Sicario, the movie that just last week earned top honors as it was named LaF's Best Film of 2015. The film is from director Denis Villeneuve and stars Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin, and Benicio Del Toro. Sicario is a hard-hitting action-drama about the U.S. war against drugs coming over the border from Mexico. While both of hosts are upset that the film did not get nominated for an Best Picture Oscar, they have decided to dedicate an entire episode to reviewing and discussing this amazing picture. In addition to the movie review, the fellas discuss the career of Denis Villeneuve, who should go see Sicario, and what makes for a perfect film.
