LaF is previewing all the films coming out for the June 24th weekend for episode 155 of LaF. Our hosts Ryan Bull and Richard Lusk can't get over how many quality films are hitting theaters this weekend. First, Independence Day: Resurgence comes out twenty years after the original. Liam Hemsworth and Jeff Goldblum must try to save Earth from an all new alien invasion threat. Next, before you head off to the beaches, watch The Shallows starring Blake Lively as a surfer trapped two hundred yards from shore by a great white shark. For Civil War fans, Matthew McConaughey leads the charge in The Free State of Jones as a Mississippi farmer who forms a group of rebels to fight the Confederacy. Lastly, Neon Demon is a horror/thriller about the world of modeling starring Elle Fanning, Christina Hendricks, and Keanu Reeves. Also, our hosts give out their weekly streaming and Redbox picks.
